Das Team Statistik Post Deutschland ist verantwortlich für die Erhebung, Berechnung und Auswertung von Absatz- und Umsatzdaten des Unternehmensbereichs Post & Paket sowie deren Bereitstellung für alle Systeme und Benutzer. Die Transformation im Bereich der Briefprodukte sowie die fortschreitende Digitalisierung unserer Abläufe erfordern eine kontinuierliche Anpassung und Verbesserung der aktuellen Reporting-Prozesse. Dies bedeutet, dass z.B. neue Technologien, wie automatisierte Datenanalysesysteme, Künstliche Intelligenz und cloudbasierte Lösungen, integriert werden müssen, um die Effizienz und Genauigkeit der Berichterstattung zu steigern.

Als Statistik Experte (m/w/d) sind Sie verantwortlich für die eigenständige Durchführung umfangreicher Hochrechnungsverfahren, einschließlich der Qualitätsprüfung. Sie führen regelmäßige Reportings durch und berichten diese an verschiedene Geschäftsbereiche. Darüber hinaus beraten Sie interne Kunden und Auftraggeber und entwickeln maßgeschneiderte Lösungen für komplexe statistische Fragestellungen. Ihre detaillierten Auswertungen und Analysen bilden die Grundlage für fundierte Managemententscheidungen.

Ihre Aufgaben:
* Selbstständige Erledigung spezifischer Aufgaben/Prozesse in der Gruppe Statistik Post Deutschland
* Mitwirkung bei der Erarbeitung von Grundsatzangelegenheiten im Bereich Statistik
* Eigenständiges Erstellen der monatlichen Absatz-/Umsatzzahlen für einzelne Geschäftsfelder mit unterschiedlicher Gliederungstiefe
* Selbstständige Durchführung von Qualitätskontrollen
* Anpassen von Reporting-Strukturen an fortentwickelte Datenbedarfe
* Entwicklung detaillierter Auswertungen für Ad hoc-Analysen
* Methodische Beratung von Kolleg:innen, insbesondere aus dem Bereich Produktmanagement
* Leitung von kleineren Projekten zur Datenerhebung und -analyse
* Erstellung von Charts, Grafiken und Reports sowie deren Präsentation

Ihr Profil:
* Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Statistik, Mathematik oder eine andere Fachrichtung mit ähnlichen Schwerpunktthemen, idealerweise mit mehrjähriger einschlägiger Berufserfahrung
* Erfahrung mit Zeitreihenmodellen und Know-how in statistischen und ökonometrischen Methoden wie z.B. Stichprobentheorie
* Grundkenntnisse im Bereich Rechnungswesen
* Praxiserprobtes Fachwissen in der Nutzung von Statistik Software wie SPSS, R, SAS
* MS Office-Kenntnisse – vor allem Excel
* Vertrautheit mit der Bearbeitung kundenindividueller Anfragen insbesondere im statistischen Bereich
* Gutes Verständnis für fachliche Geschäftsprozesse
* Mathematisches Denken, Abstraktionsvermögen und die Fähigkeit, komplexe Sachverhalte leicht verständlich darzustellen
* Hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative, Kreativität und Flexibilität
* Sie sind hoch motiviert, analytisch denkend und im Team vernetzt und verfügen über ein ausgeprägtes Verantwortungsgefühl für das Aufgabenumfeld; Sie arbeiten ziel- und ergebnisorientiert
* Sichere Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (Niveau C1) sowie gute Englischkenntnisse (Niveau B1)
* Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Geschäftsreisen

Your role:
You will play a key role in the success of drug development, as part of a team that encourages career growth and development. As a statistical leader working in a cross-functional team, you will be responsible to develop an appropriate strategy for evidence generation to create value in a drug development program and to support evidence-based decision-making. You may independently lead very complex clinical studies or one or more oncology drug development projects in study design, data analysis and interpretation of results, authoring regulatory responses and other documents with minimal supervision.  Key responsibilities will be to contribute to the integrated evidence plan for a drug development program to create value for patients and support marketing authorization and reimbursement, and to provide statistical leadership in the development of human research study designs and take accountability for statistical matters, in matrix leadership of other statisticians. You will ensure that statistical analyses are effectively performed and conducted in high quality and in a timely manner and communicated to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will ensure the objective interpretation of human research study results to support informed decision-making. Furthermore, you will represent Biostatistics externally, e.g. in interactions with Health Authorities and external partnerships, and support the development of departmental standards and process improvements.

Who you are:

- Ph.D. or MS in Statistics, Biostatistics or related discipline
- Excellent team player (both within the project and within the function), strong communication and influencing skills, fluent in English
- Experience working in a diverse, global working environment
- At least 8 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry in clinical development
- Comprehensive expertise in drug development, including knowledge of interfaces and interdependencies with other functions
- Excellent knowledge of relevant guidance documents (from ICH, FDA, EMA, etc.), using them proactively to impact the performance or find alternative solutions
- Strong leadership competencies: purposeful, results-driven, innovative, collaborative, future-oriented
- Experience in oncology preferred

- At least 10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry in clinical development
- Comprehensive expertise in drug development, including knowledge of interfaces and interdependencies with other functions
- Experience in oncology preferred
- Excellent knowledge of relevant guidance documents (from ICH, FDA, EMA, etc.), using them pro-actively to impact the performance or find alternative solutions
