The University Hospital Cologne is one of Europe’s largest centers for solid tumors, especially lung cancer. We contribute to comprehensive patient care with latest analysis methods. We are a service provider in the “Model Project for the comprehensive diagnosis and therapy identification by means of genome sequencing in cases of rare and oncological diseases” (Modellvorhaben Genomsequenzierung). The successful candidate will join a dynamic routine diagnostics lab and will participate in high throughput analysis of solid tumor samples with modern technologies in the field of next generation sequencing. Whole exome and complex custom data sets are analyzed with adequate computational infrastructure of the University Hospital of Cologne. We have a broad spectrum of seminars and an intense scientific exchange with national collaborators.
