We are seeking a qualified Sales and Marketing Director to strengthen our team in Germany through discovery and winning of new business opportunities and relationships in Europe.

Sales and Marketing Director (m/f/d)
Development and implementation of sales strategies and promotions to grow awareness of Ott Scientific and to grow the business in Europe.
Coordination and implementation of marketing strategies by organizing and visiting numerous trade shows and other marketing events within Europe.
Undertake at least two (2) product and market research projects and competitor analyses each year.
Use, expand and maintain the customer database, including prospective customers.
Generate new leads, identify and follow through with decision-makers to close sales opportunities.
Prepare and submit frequent sales and customer visit reports.
Support the Customer Service team and other Stakeholders in daily business activities.

PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field.
MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years successful track record in Sales and Business Development in the medical devices or chemical industry.
Extensive global collaboration experience.
High affinity for numbers, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Strong customer orientation and good customer relationship management skills.
Fluency in both English and German.
Ability to create presentations and to eloquently present information.
Ability to work with limited supervision, multi-task and meet deadlines and objectives
Willingness and ability to undertake business travels 50-60% of the time.
