Your tasks and responsibilities:

- You will act as responsible Data Architect for our global Healthineers Data Cloud landscape focusing on data integration and transformation (e.g. using Data Vault 2.0, DBT, CI/CD) and implementation in line with our strategy of scaling high-quality data products by leveraging AI and automation.
- You will consult IT service & business product owners on complex data-related topics while acting as the subject matter expert.
- You will develop and implement data models within a defined framework based on business demands applying the market standards/best practices (e.g., star, snowflake schema modelling).
- You will proactively identify and implement improvements to maintain optimal system performance and reliable data results.

Your qualifications and experience: ****

- You hold a degree in a subject related to information technology, business informatics, business administration or comparable.
- You have many years of experience in the field of data management and data architecture.
- You have strong technical expertise in working with database technologies (e.g., Snowflake), data architecture/ data warehousing concepts, data modelling/transformation and data ingestion (ETL).
- You have a very good understanding of data management and data quality related aspects.

- Build, operate and administer our Windows-based server landscape.
- Test and implement AI & Automation solutions, develop alternative concepts and scenarios, and integrate AI services into our Windows-based server landscape.

- In Ihrer Funktion als IT-Engineer arbeiten Sie schwerpunktmäßig im Engineering für Connectivity, Train IT und Fahrgastinformationssystemen (FIS) für Retrofit-Projekte. In diesem interessanten Umfeld tragen Sie zu einem effizienten Betrieb von Schienenfahrzeugen bei.

- Sie konzipieren und betreuen SW-Entwicklungen in einem expandierenden Siemens-Bereich, setzen diese um und entwickeln SW-Komponenten für Train IT-Lösungen.

- Sie klären die Anforderungen für Train IT und FIS-Komponenten und initiieren die Abstimmung zur Findung möglicher Lösungen inkl. der Spezifikation der Aufgaben und Klärung von Schnittstellen im Umfeld von Diagnose- und Kommunikationslösungen für schienengebundene Fahrzeuge. Dabei haben Sie die gültigen Prozesse und Sicherheitsrichtlinien im Auge.

- Zudem stimmen Sie sich mit anderen Engineering Abteilungen, der Projektleitung und Lieferanten ab und arbeiten eng mit diesen zusammen.

- Sie wirken bei der Neu- und Weiterentwicklung von Komponenten und Systemen mit und beziehen modernste Technologien ein.


**Was bringen Sie mit?**

- Sie verfügen über ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Masterstudium im Bereich Elektrotechnik / Informationstechnik oder Automatisierungstechnik.

- Erste praktische Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung unter Linux haben Sie bereits erlangt, vorzugsweise in C, C++ und Python.

- IT-Systeme in Schienenfahrzeugen sind Ihnen nicht fremd.

- Außerdem punkten Sie mit Erfahrung im Bereich der Integration von IoT-Komponenten und Subsystemen im industrienahen Umfeld.

- Sie arbeiten gerne im Team und interessieren sich für die Mitarbeit in innovativen Projekten.
