IT System Administrator (m/f/d) (Ingenieur/in - Elektrotechnik)

Your mission

- You are the expert behind the digital infrastructure and ensure the smooth functioning of the IT landscape of the entire company
- As a knowledgeable administrator, you maintain not only our server infrastructure with calm and precision, but also the comprehensive network including domain controller, DNS, SSL and other components for the entire company
- You are responsible for the flawless use of the terminal server environment(MS Terminal Server)
- You play an active role in IT sub-projects in the server and network area and aim to manage these yourself in the future
- With an eye for detail, you support the administration of the VMware and Hyper-V virtualization environments
- Your contribution to the creation of technical documentation, manuals and IT guidelines makes you an indispensable player in our digital environment

Your profile

- successfully completed studies in computer science, information or communication technology or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration
- confident handling of Microsoft Client- /Server OS, Linux, Apple MacOS
- experience with Citrix Terminal Server environments, Microsoft Terminal Server, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Hyper-V and with VMware (ESXi, vCenter)
- good knowledge of German and English
- personally you convince with your ability to work in a team, discretion and loyalty as well as high willingness to learn and change.

Your mission

- You are responsible for the entire product life cycle in the area of Open Networks & Solutions
- Together with the team, you develop a product roadmap and actively manage the development of product relaunches
- As an interface between various business partners, you will provide internal and external training on the products

- You have successfully completed a degree in information technology or a comparable course of study

Your mission

- You define and create specifications for products, product groups and platforms in the area of Virtual Network Functions (VNF) and Software Defined Networks (SDN)
- You will work closely with our product management and customers to understand and integrate their requirements
- You are responsible for the entire life cycle of Linux-based SDN solutions, from conception to development and operation
- You analyze typical use cases from the customer’s or user’s perspective in order to optimally adapt the products
- In consultation with internal and external customers, you select the appropriate components for the SDN solutions
- You will also install and test the developed SDN products to ensure their performance and reliability

Your profile

- You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or communications engineering or a corresponding apprenticeship
- With general knowledge of network technology and telecommunications, including protocol and procedures, you have important prerequisites
- You have already gained experience in network management, SDN and Linux
- You have actively used and further developed virtualization technologies
- You are proficient in both written and spoken German and English
- Personally, you are characterized by your ability to work in a team, high willingness to learn and creativity
