As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our interface application, IFC8, which communicates with various Hotel Interfaces such as PBXs, Point of Sales (POS) systems, Video Systems, Access Systems, etc., while also supporting OPERA 5, Suite 8, and OPERA CLOUD.

What you'll do

- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for applications, tools, and networks related to the Hotel Interfaces Team
- Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging, or designing of software applications
- Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs
- Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing
- Understand and document test scenarios based on discussions with Functional/Development/Business Teams
- Map requirements to test cases and produce test plans
- Responsible for test case execution and documenting results, collecting logs/traces for validation and troubleshooting
- Assist Business users in performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Create/support daily metrics/status reporting
- Escalate blocking issues for resolution
- Maintain an ongoing suite of automated test cases
- Track defects in various defect tracking tools and update tickets
- Retest defects

What you’ll bring

- Proven expertise in access governance (IAG) solutions and middleware technologies, with hands-on experience in Cloud-based solutions.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and inspire change throughout the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and development, with a track record of building impactful teams.

We are looking for a Principal Vulnerability Engineer who will be part of the security vulnerability team for the Java platform. This team conducts both the red team (offensive) and blue team (defensive) duties.  Responsibilities will include proactive research, security tooling, assessments, and assisting development teams with security code review. Qualified candidate must have at least 10+ years of hands-on experience in platform security, deep knowledge of Java security model is a must. Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience with security protocols and best practices are required.  Ideal candidate is expected to work independently on assigned tasks. Proven past experience in successful security incident resolution and proactive research utilizing industry standard tools is a must-have. Past research and CVEs on Java security issues are a plus.  Must have proficiency in Java, and expert level C/C++ skills, and systems level programming.  Great personal leadership, self-starter, ability to work with remote teams and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include proactive research on new vulnerability signatures for the Java platform, create and maintain security tooling for the Java platform, conduct security assessment for new features that will be integrated into the JDK, and assisting development teams with security code review.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
