Your main tasks would be to support operations and software maintenance of ESA flight dynamics systems for trajectory analysis and optimization and AOCS command generation. If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have knowledge and experience in: - Linear algebra, in particular for problem solving related to geometry in the Euclidean 3 dimensional space. - Numerical methods for equations solving, integration of differential equations and function approximation - Classical mechanics for kinematics and dynamics of point masses, dynamics of rigid body, dynamics expressed in non-inertial frames, conservation laws in mechanics, gravitational forces and field, orbit dynamics - Software programming in C++ We also value experience in software scripting in Python or Shell.
