Data Manager in Clinical Studies in Ophthalmology (f/m/d)

targomed has been a trusted partner in the field of medical writing and clinical studies for over a decade. We are now seeking a passionate and Data Manager Ophthalmology (f/m/d) to join our team.

Your Responsibilities:

- Data management of clinical trial databases, including data review, remote data monitoring and data queries.
- Data Analysis in Ophthalmology:
- Conduct data reviews and evaluations in MS Excel.
- Identify data inconsistencies and ensure data integrity
- Interpret clinical data/outcomes.
- Perform statistical analysis (descriptive statistics) and graphical representation using MS Excel
- Regular and repetitive remote data check in ongoing clinical studies
- Design and develop Case Report Forms to be implemented in EDC systems
- Collaborate effectively with Clinical Studies and Medical Writing teams.

Your Qualifications:

- Strong background in Ophthalmology
- Master or Bachelor of Science in adequate fields e.g. Optometry, Clinical Trial Management, Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and basic statistical skills:
- statistical software such as R would be a strong plus
- other tools like SPSS or SAS would be a plus.
- Soft Skills: Motivated, open-minded, communicative, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
tasks effectively.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English is essential; German is a plus.
