Your responsibilities

            
The position can be filled in Jászfényszaru (Hungary), Ilsenburg (Germany) or Eschen (Liechtenstein). 
• Procurement: In your role, you will be responsible for the worldwide procurement of components with the focus on forged parts as main commodity. 
• Strategy development: This requires the development and implementation of a commodity strategy for the demand of all our plants worldwide. You will interact with colleagues from other Business Units, as well as from different departments to create synergies and value for thyssenkrupp. 
• Supplier management: You will also select and develop new suppliers and maintain a cooperative partnership. As the global responsible for this commodity, you will be active worldwide in existing and new regions. 
• Negotiation undamp; Contracts: You will negotiate all mandatory documents and contracts from first contact to the supplier to start of series production. If necessary, you will support our plants in the event of contractual disruptions. 
• Demand management: Within your product group, you will be responsible for conducting and covering demands and developing strategies to generate potential for reducing the price of components. 

            Your profile

             
• You have a degree in technical and/or commercial studies or an equivalent qualification. 
• You have a strong technical background and have already gained experience in strategic purchasing, ideally having managed your own commodities or been on the sales team of a forging company. 
• You can also attribute your success so far to your strengths in communication, your analytical thinking and your senior appearance. You know how tough negotiations work and you don’t lose your cool when challenges arise. 
• Good knowledge of English (min. C1) and German (min. B2) as well as good MS Office skills are mandatory. 
• Experience with SAP/R3 will make it much easier for you to get started, but we will also be happy to teach you. 
• Due to our worldwide locations and our global supplier portfolio, enjoying international business travel is essential (approx. 20%) and rounds off your profile.
