We are looking for you as Industrialization Manager (f/m/d) for our location in Kassel .

Your role at Alstom - What you can do with us 

A total of more than 35,000 locomotives have already set sail from Kassel: at the traditional Alstom site in Kassel, service for the well-known Traxx locomotive platform is playing an increasingly important role in addition to the new building. The Rolling Stock & Components division offers products from the broadest portfolio of the railway industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including zero-emission propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. In this role, you will report to Markus Wagner and work in a motivated and committed team.

Your tasks: 

As a Product Industrialization Manager (f/m/d), you will be responsible for managing industrial implementation in work preparation. Your area of responsibility covers the entire product development process from the development to the delivery of our vehicles.

- You will lead the industrialization team during the development phase of the product.
- It develops proposals for the development and standardization of new manufacturing technologies and methods
- You design the global macro process based on standard SMP.
- You will manage the necessary measures to achieve the industrial QCD goals (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and work on process risk analyses.
- They ensure that the availability of tools and workstations is guaranteed on time and in accordance with EHS requirements, ergonomics and quality.
- You will prepare for the introduction of new technologies, including process validation.
- They supervised the industrialization planning including all activities: Co-Engineering, P-FMEA, Deliverables Mile Stones, FAR/FAI.
- You will be actively involved in industrial cost calculation
- You will perform REX for manufacturing processes

- Successfully completed technical studies - preferably in the field of mechanical or electrical engineering
- Alternatively: completed technician training
- Several years of professional experience in the work preparation of a production company and solid project management experience
- Professional experience in the rail vehicle industry desirable
- Technical experience in process engineering, writing production instructions, line balancing, lean manufacturing.
- Fluent in German and English
- High degree of personal responsibility and independence
- Positive attitude, strong ability to work in a team and the ability to build an efficient network
- Willingness to travel
- Good IT skills, e.g. MS Office, SAP
