Tasks and Responsibilities: - Acting as a field-based reference point for non-promotional scientific and clinical expertise to field force - Developing and maintaining long-term professional relationships with medical specialists and healthcare professionals. Utilizing superior therapy area and product knowledge to engage with HCPs through non-promotional evidence based scientific dialogue and presentations. Discussing scientific research concepts and ideas with investigators - Providing medical support to the internal teams including identification of HCPs and Advisory Board members - Collaborating with colleagues to actively support meetings by collecting and interpreting insights, competitive intelligence, presentations as well as results. Maintaining close cross-functional working with clinical teams, medical colleagues and Sales & Marketing - Identifying and tracking potential research opportunities aligned with PAION’s development objectives through facilitating IITs and other research projects - Implementing as well as supporting scientific projects according to corporate global strategies including registries, epidemiology projects or preclinical research - Ensuring that prevailing legislation and Medical Compliance requirements are fulfilled Your profile: - Background in Medicine or Natural Science - Experience in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care or Infectious diseases - 5 years of pharmaceutical experience in Medical Affairs, and a thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical industry appreciated - Willingness to travel up to 20% - Ability to understand, process, communicate and present scientific information to a high standard - Customer focus with strong networking capabilities with KOLs - Self-organization and an independent, reliable and solution-oriented way of working - Precise expressiveness, excellent medical writing skills - Fluent in English and German; ideally proficiency in Dutch
