The European University Viadrina is an international and interdisciplinary university that educates around 4,000 students from all over the world in law, economics and cultural studies programmes in the twin city of Frankfurt (Oder)-Słubice on the Polish and German sides of the Oder. The aim of the European Reform University Alliance, a European university alliance of eight universities, is to innovatively shape the future of universities in Europe and to rethink study and teaching, research and social engagement from a critical, European and inclusive perspective (https://erua-eui.eu (https://erua-eui.eu/) ).

You are responsible for the communication of ERUA activities at the European University Viadrina and act as a communicative interface between the Viadrina and the European University Network.

Your tasks include:

-       You will develop, manage and anchor communication on and about ERUA at the European University Viadrina; to this end, you will take part in regular online and face-to-face meetings with the University Communications and ERUA teams at the Viadrina and in the ERUA network with the WP8 team.
-       You will develop and implement the communication and marketing measures of ERUA at the Viadrina and in the ERUA network; this includes:

o   strategic stakeholder management and continuous communication with relevant target groups in order to create the best possible publicity and interest for ERUA among all internal university reference groups and external target groups;

o   Responsible editing of the (primarily English-language) Viadrina content in text and images on the ERUA website ("Digital Campus"), including editorial work for the social media channels of ERUA and the participating universities;

o   Press and media relations for the ERUA activities of the Viadrina, including establishing contacts with the media and answering media inquiries about ERUA;

o   Organization of ERUA events (workshops, conferences, info days)

o   Development and maintenance of supporting communication tools, such as newsletters, print formats, etc.

o   Development of alumni activities in the ERUA network (Virtual Alumni Book, alumni meetings);

-       You will be responsible for ERUA reporting in the area of communication at the Viadrina, including the preparation and processing of tasks, deliverables and milestones in cooperation with the overall ERUA coordination at the Viadrina and the foreign partner universities;
-       They monitor the ERUA budget for the Viadrina's communication department in cooperation with the overall ERUA coordination and the Viadrina's finance department.

Ihr Profil umfasst:

-       Successfully completed university studies (for example Master, Magister, Diplom)  in communications, journalism, marketing or comparable fields;
-       several years of professional experience in journalism, press and public relations work or science communication;
-       Basic knowledge of image editing and creation of share-pics, also for social media
-       Relevant knowledge and experience in the management of international scientific and / or communicative (collaborative) projects;
-       very good skills in communicating with different target groups and stakeholders;
-       strong conceptual and analytical skills as well as the ability to present complex issues in a generally understandable way;
-       Independent, problem-solving and results-oriented way of working, combined with strong teamwork skills;
-       excellent written and spoken English (min. C 1), good knowledge of German; knowledge of other Allianz foreign languages is an advantage

Ziel der European Reform University Alliance, eines europäischen Hochschulverbundes von acht Universitäten, ist es, die Zukunft der Universitäten in Europa innovativ zu gestalten und dabei Studium und Lehre, Forschung und gesellschaftliches Engagement aus einer kritischen, europäischen und inklusiven Perspektive neu zu denken (https://erua-eui.eu (https://erua-eui.eu/) ).

Sie sind für die Kommunikation der ERUA-Aktivitäten der Europa-Universität Viadrina verantwortlich und fungieren als kommunikative Schnittstelle zwischen der Viadrina und dem Europäischen Hochschulverbund.

Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören:


-     Sie entwickeln, steuern und verankern die Kommunikation zu und über ERUA an der Europa-Universität Viadrina; dazu nehmen Sie an regelmäßigen Online- und Präsenz-Meetings mit dem Hochschulkommunikations- und ERUA-Team an der Viadrina und im ERUA-Verbund mit dem WP8-Team an den beteiligten Hochschulen teil.
-     Sie entwickeln und setzen die Kommunikations- und Marketingmaßnahmen von ERUA an der Viadrina und im ERUA-Verbund um; dazu zählt:

o    strategisches Stakeholder-Management und kontinuierliche Kommunikation mit relevanten Zielgruppen, um eine bestmögliche Öffentlichkeit und Interesse für ERUA bei allen universitätsinternen Bezugsgruppen und bei externen Zielgruppen herzustellen;

o    verantwortliche Redaktion der (vornehmlich englischsprachigen) Viadrina-Inhalte in Text und Bild des ERUA-Webauftritts („Digital Campus“) inklusive redaktionelle Zuarbeit für die Social-Media-Kanäle von ERUA und den beteiligten Universitäten;

o    Presse- und Medienarbeit für die ERUA-Aktivitäten der Viadrina inkl. Aufbau von Kontakten zu Medien und Beantwortung von Medienanfragen zu ERUA;

o    Organisation von ERUA-Events (Workshops, Konferenzen, Info-Days)

o    Entwicklung und Pflege unterstützender Kommunikationsinstrumente, wie etwa Newsletter, Printformate o.ä.

o    Aufbau von Alumni-Aktivitäten im ERUA-Verbund (Virtual Alumni Book, Alumni-Treffen);

-     Sie zeichnen verantwortlich für das ERUA-Berichtswesen im Bereich Kommunikation an der Viadrina inklusive der Er- und Bearbeitung von Tasks, Deliverables und Mile­stones in Kooperation mit der ERUA-Gesamtkoordination an der Viadrina und den ausländischen Partnerhochschulen;
-     Sie überwachen das ERUA-Budget für den Bereich Kommunikation an der Viadrina in Kooperation mit der ERUA-Gesamtkoordination und dem Finanzdezernat an der Viadrina.

Ihr Profil umfasst:


-       ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium (z. B. Master, Magister, Diplom) im Bereich Kommunikation, Journalismus, Marketing oder in vergleichbaren Bereichen;
-       belegte mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Journalismus, Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, bzw. Wissenschaftskommunikation;
-       Grundkenntnisse Bildbearbeitung und Erstellung von Share-Pics, auch für Social Media
-       einschlägige Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen im Management von internationalen wissenschaftlichen und / oder kommunikativen (Verbund-)Projekten;
-       sehr gute Fähigkeiten zur Kommunikation mit unterschiedlichen Zielgruppen und Stakeholdern;
-       ausgeprägte konzeptionelle und analytische Fähigkeiten sowie die Fähigkeit, komplexe Sachverhalte allgemeinverständlich aufzubereiten;
-       selbstständige, problemlösungs- und ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise, verbunden mit ausgeprägter Teamfähigkeit;
-       ausgezeichnete Englischkenntnisse im Wort und Schrift (mind. C 1), ausgezeichnete Deutschkenntnisse; die Kenntnis von weiteren Fremdsprachen der Allianz ist von Vorteil
