Our Central Sales Functions On-site Team is seeking to fill at the earliest practicable date the position as Sales Manager (m/f/d) Location: any Messer location in EuropeReference number: 02/2025 Our benefits: - A varied and challenging job in an international, successful and economically stable company where your commitment is valued - Personal and professional development through targeted training programs - Options for remote work Your responsibilities: - Acquisition of On-Site Projects, particularly cryogenic nitrogen generators, PSA- and membrane plants and hydrogen plants (SMR and Electrolyzer) - Ongoing market and competitor monitoring, including establishing and maintaining a database within the Messer CRM system and the development of on-site plant concepts in cooperation with the engineering division - Preparation of presentations and drafting bids on behalf of the Messer companies and its regional subsidiaries - Provide training sessions for the sales force of Messer’s subsidiaries, focusing on On-site acquisition - Develop and review Messer’s sales strategy for the On-site portfolio to ensure contract compliance and effective performance evaluation and continuous process improvement Your qualifications: - Academic degree in Engineering with strong business acumen and investment calculation competency - At least three years of sales development and one year of project management experience - Experience working in an international environment and a cross-functional team - Interpersonal skills with a strong ability to communicate, being proactive and open minded - Proficiency with MS Office - Business fluent in English, German speaking skills is a plus - Willingness to travel (approx. 20-30%)
