Join our team in Büdingen - catchment area Frankfurt, Hanau, Gelnhausen, Gießen, Aschaffenburg.


The role of Manager Quality Division has the scope to develop and implement the Quality strategy and Policies among our Division organization focusing on Customer needs, supporting plants on managing Quality System.
 
	Responsible to deploy and cascade Quality strategy and policies to Division plants and customer focus.
	Drive and develop costumer communication and claim follow up in Division plants.
	Implementation of Quality Continuous improvement with finishing line rejection analyse and CAP in all Division plants.
	Support plants together with Quality System on Certification and reinforce of Plant QMS.
	Ensure that Division plants have the appropriated process for income inspection.
	Plan and ensure the required audit to Division Plants and the critical processes.
	Ensure the right discipline to follow up Quality process and product rules.
	Ensure that Division Plants manage and continuously improve the critical Quality KPIs.
	Ensure together with Plant Manager that Division Plants have the right resources (people and equipment).
	Coordinate regional Quality Processes and Initiatives.
	Ensure Standardization of Quality Processes on Division plants.
	Coordinate share of Lessons Learns between Division Plants.
	Support APQP on the plants based on structured plan.
	Coordinate a good CoPQ reporting and Improvement Plan.
	Develop and improve quality & delivery through the development of and adherence to defined processes.
 
	Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Physics, Chemistry, or Business discipline with experience in a manufacturing environment.
	Minimum of 4 years of experience in a quality or process engineering role within a multinational industrial setting, including transversal management experience.
	Strong background in Six Sigma methodology and quality tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, 8D, etc.), with the ability to train and coach others.
	In-depth understanding of manufacturing cost drivers and CI processes (as VAVE and lean manufacturing).
	Proven experience in coordinating and leading quality audits in manufacturing environment (process, product, systems, customer) and KPI management.
	Expertise in ISO standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and automotive industry requirements.
	Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.

Exide Technologies’ Energy Solutions division is developing and manufacturing stationary energy storage batteries, from backup power to large-scale storage systems (BESS and C&I). Senior Manager (m/f/x) Quality

Join our team in Büdingen - catchment area Frankfurt, Hanau, Gelnhausen, Gießen, Aschaffenburg.


The role of Manager Quality Division has the scope to develop and implement the Quality strategy and Policies among our Division organization focusing on Customer needs, supporting plants on managing Quality System.

Responsible to deploy and cascade Quality strategy and policies to Division plants and customer focus.
Drive and develop costumer communication and claim follow up in Division plants.
Implementation of Quality Continuous improvement with finishing line rejection analyse and CAP in all Division plants.
Support plants together with Quality System on Certification and reinforce of Plant QMS.
Ensure that Division plants have the appropriated process for income inspection.
Plan and ensure the required audit to Division Plants and the critical processes.
Ensure the right discipline to follow up Quality process and product rules.
Ensure that Division Plants manage and continuously improve the critical Quality KPIs.
Ensure together with Plant Manager that Division Plants have the right resources (people and equipment).
Coordinate regional Quality Processes and Initiatives.
Ensure Standardization of Quality Processes on Division plants.
Coordinate share of Lessons Learns between Division Plants.
Support APQP on the plants based on structured plan.
Coordinate a good CoPQ reporting and Improvement Plan.
Develop and improve quality & delivery through the development of and adherence to defined processes.

Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Physics, Chemistry, or Business discipline with experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a quality or process engineering role within a multinational industrial setting, including transversal management experience.
Strong background in Six Sigma methodology and quality tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, 8D, etc.), with the ability to train and coach others.
In-depth understanding of manufacturing cost drivers and CI processes (as VAVE and lean manufacturing).
Proven experience in coordinating and leading quality audits in manufacturing environment (process, product, systems, customer) and KPI management.
Expertise in ISO standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and automotive industry requirements.
Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across all functions and levels within the organization.
