For our client in the aerospace industry, we are looking for motivated candidates for the following position in Manching Germany with immediate effect:

Commodity Manager Flight Systems (f/m/d) Ref. 10316652

job description:

- Be accountable for leading the MFT/MDT (with possible delegation to Buyer)
- Be the entry point to company for commodity management (per commodity products/services)
- Establish, implement and improve commodity strategy
- Implement the Procurement policy
- Perform market analysis (global sourcing including offsets)
- Manage sourcing (CFT, RFP, etc) & contract management
- Contribute in monitoring & improving supplier performance
- Identify & lead value creation project and support product /service innovation
- Sustain long term relationships with suppliers
- Ensure risk management

personal requirements:

- Teamplayer
- Open-minded, reliable and communicative personality

CVs are required in English!

education / studies:

- Industrial Engineering (Mindfulness). Master's/Diploma program or
- Business Administration (Mindfulness). Master's/Diploma program or
- Economics (at least Master's/Diploma program)

professional experience:

- Planning/Material Procurement (at least 3 years)
- Purchasing (at least 3 years)

IT:

- MS Office (at least detailed specialist knowledge)
- SAP (at least knowledge of detailed functions)
- Experience with Google suite is necessary

language skills:

- English at least business fluent
- German and Spanish knowledge is nice to have
