Your role

The Cloud Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and building enterprise-scale cloud architectures to power, deploy, and operationalize our applications, microservices, serverless functions, and more. This position is part of the enabling team that supports our product teams, which work on Software as a Service (SaaS) applications used by our customers. Embedded within development teams, the role provides hands-on experience with cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Security, Networking, Observability, and Distributed Tracing.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable cloud solutions on AWS to support product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
- Utilize DevOps practices to automate and enhance development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Examine the software development lifecycle from source to production to build tools and workflows for rapid software delivery.
- Automate processes and apply SRE principles within development teams.
- Build and scale containerized applications using cloud-native architectures.
- Drive prototyping efforts to evaluate infrastructure and architecture design options.
- Design robust CI/CD processes, including infrastructure as code.
- Integrate with enterprise systems for Security, Distributed Tracing, and Telemetry.
- Enhance existing toolchains through development and third-party software investigation.
- Produce clean, well-documented code following development best practices.
- Stay updated on new technologies and produce thought leadership content.

Technical Skills

- Expertise in AWS services and architecture, including IAM, VPC, Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, S3, ECR, AuroraDB, CloudWatch, and AWS CLI.
- Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, and Python.
- Understanding of networking basics and cloud security.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly CloudFormation.
- Experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools like AWS CloudWatch or Prometheus/Grafana.
- Strong experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Experience with authentication/authorization methods (AD, Azure AD, SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
- Familiarity with Agile workflows, particularly Scrum and ideally SAFe.

Who you are

- University degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
- AWS Solutions Architect or similar certification.
- Development background or competency with modern programming languages and design principles.
- 8+ years of experience with Linux, networking, and scripting (bash/python).
- 8+ years of experience with Docker containers and AWS deployments.
- A team player with the ability to read and write code in multiple languages, solve challenging problems independently, and drive projects with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Your Role:

You will consult and support cyber security operations across our Business Units and Enabling Functions to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability across the company’s IT and OT assets, software-based products, and applications. Who you are:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in intelligence studies, computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a focus on cyber security risk management, policy setting, assurance, audit, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge across multiple information security domains (e.g., IT, OT, IoT, and products)
- Good knowledge of industry-leading Cybersecurity standards and groups: ISA, IEC, ISO, NIST, Namur, ENISA, BSI, and other Critical Infrastructure and Essential Services requirements
- Capability to understand and take into account different business needs when executing cyber security operations

Your Role:

The Digital Plant Architect is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of digital plant target architecture and related technologies and support digital plant IT program management & roadmap execution in the company. The role is to bridge the gap between traditional manufacturing and digital/IT solutions, using advanced digital tools and techniques to enable connected plant and realize the paperless operations and develop the technology roadmap towards smart manufacturing. This role plays a crucial part from IT side in collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. OT, engineering, automation, plant operation team, QC, etc.) to integrate IT/OT systems into plant operations, optimize plant operations, support decision making processes, as well as ensure seamless connectivity, scalability, and efficiency and transform traditional manufacturing into smart, connected and data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Architecture Development

• Design end-to-end digital plant target architectures and data structure to ensure data interoperability and achieve paperless factory operations.

•  Integrate key technologies such as PLCs, SCADA systems, Environmental Monitoring Systems, Building Management Systems, Data Historians, MES, EBR, ERP production modules, and digital worker tools like DDMS and OEE.

•  Design interfaces and data transfer mechanisms to connect the shopfloor systems with existing enterprise systems, such as ERP and MES..

•  Ensure interoperability and seamless communication between IT and OT systems.

•  Research and evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation in digital plant area.

• Oversee the deployment of digital/IT solutions like MES, EBR, Data Historian, etc., ensuring they meet performance, cost, and timeline requirements.

•  Lead digital plant IT solution / technology governance and optimization, review business process and functional requirements to optimize the solution architecture, recommend potential options, select the most optimal option, and develop a roadmap for the selected solution, ensure the proposed solutions fulfill functional requirements and comply with technology solution standards.

Process mapping and data flow design

•  Develop an integrated IT/OT process map spanning Level 0 to Level 4 of the ISA-95 model, considering existing processes and future trends in terms of the required business capabilities for a digital plant and lighthouse.

•  Assess existing processes and incorporate future trends to design systems supporting business capabilities for a digital plant.

•  Oversee and map out how production data flow from sensors on machines to order details in ERP system, from shop floor devices to back-end systems, and design a general data flow in terms of overall production process value chain.

Program Management and Project Execution

• Lead or contribute to digital plant program and its related projects, from planning and requirements gathering to implementation and deployment.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including plant managers, engineers, software vendors, and contractors, to ensure project goals are met.

• Present digital plant concepts, progress, and results to non - technical stakeholders, translating complex technical information into understandable terms.

Who you are:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial), or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in digital plant solutions design and implementation.

• Proven experiences with MES, EBR, Data Historian and digital workers technology.

• Deep understanding overall IT/OT technologies and processes, from level 0 to level 4.

Conduct Cyber Security audits and control effectiveness reviews (also with external partners) to verify and ensure that relevant Cyber Security requirements and regulatory requirements are adhered to. Assess and monitor Cyber Security suppliers and assist business in answering requests related to EL Cyber Security organization. Work closely with procurement and legal teams to incorporate Cyber Security requirements into vendor contracts and service level agreements.

Who you are:
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in intelligence studies, computer science, engineering or related field.
•    Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a focus on Cyber Security or equivalent following industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO27000, NIST CSF, NIS2, PCI DSS, KRITIS / B3S PHARMA)
•    Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and build consensus with teams across organizational lines.
•    Demonstrated experience across multiple information security domains preferred (e.g. IT, OT, IoT and Digital Products).
•    1 or more industry-recognized security, or audit professional certifications (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP).
•    Professional with a positive attitude and capable of contributing to a dynamic and team-oriented culture.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus)
