Job Description As a Decoking Supervisor you will participate as a Shift Lead (supervises crew). Is responsible for field execution. Works along with an FTIS PM, as applicable, and remotely supervised by the Decoking Lead. Assists with all phases in the execution of specific mechanical cleaning projects, including, but not limited to, the pre-job, field execution, and post-job responsibilities. These decoking projects will be carried out from their base location and on customer’s job sites using a mechanical cleaning truck. While not performing decoking jobs, responsibilities will also include equipment maintenance, running errands, and general housekeeping. Additionally, the Decoking Supervisor is also responsible for adhering to the company’s policies, procedures, and culture. Partner with the Best, As a As a Decoking Supervisor you will responsible for: - Creating a safe working environment for himself and his co-workers. safety awareness is priority one. - Pre-job responsibilities will include in assisting with the packing and transportation of cleaning equipment. - Assisting with the set-up of the equipment, repair equipment (if needed), cleaning, rigging down and re-packing of the equipment. - Understanding heater layout (inlets, convection, cross-over, radiant, outlets, etc) - Participating in site visits along a FTIS Lead or Decoking Lead - Running the decoking unit as well as performing pig launching and retrieval (understand tracks on the pigs) - Post-job responsibilities will include assisting with the unpacking of the equipment including, cleaning, and checking of the equipment as needed. - Supporting on HDS projects as well as leading in close contact and coordination with the on-site FTIS PM or Decoking Lead - Processing and executing permits, LOTO, decoking personnel badging & safety training. - Collaborating work with FTIS PM for JSA, toolbox meetings, documents interpretation, etc. during his/her shift - Directing supervision and full responsibility over the decoking crew under his/her shift, including safety - Responsible for decoking units on and after the project, including daily maintenance - Filling out the right documentation (safety, operation, maintenance) - Attending kick off and follow up meetings on site with PM - Keeping other Decoking Supervisors and FTIS PM informed and properly hands information off during shift changes Fuel your Passion To be successful in your role: - School Diploma. Equivalent training/experience in the hi-tech, field service or petrochemical industry. Some college related courses or technical training in Electronics, Engineering, Welding or Ultrasonics would be desirable. - Must have strong mechanical aptitude. - Decoking 101 Class - Decoking & HDS for Technicians Class - 1,200 Hours of Decoking / Cleaning Experience - 60% Skills qualifications for Decokers, 1st & 2nd column - Be able to obtain foreign work visas and national worker identification cards as required for domestic and international work. - Excellent ability to represent the company in a professional manner with regard to communicating and interfacing with clients and capable of maintaining confidentiality. - Have the ability to travel upwards of 80% of the time during peak periods. - Be customer focused, have an excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to work in a team environment. - In order to comply with customer requirements for the use of respirators while on site performing inspections, the technician must be willing to remove facial hair. - Firm commitment to our Guiding Principles. - Must be able to think creatively, conduct themselves with diplomacy and maintain confidentiality.
