established itself in coastal and maritime shipping. coastal and maritime

With a fleet of currently ten river-sea vessels, Amadeus operates tramp
shipping for its customers on all short-sea routes throughout Europe.

As a broker, Amadeus also offers logistics solutions for partial and full
charters through to supramax shipments.

Amadeus Schiffahrts- und Speditions GmbH, situated in* Duisburg*, is a

Due to our upcoming fleet expansion, we are looking for an

Operator (m/f/d) – in Part-Time or Full-Time

Responsibilities/Tasks:

· Communication &amp; coordination with customers / service providers / ships
/ agents / brokers
· Ship operating (handling and independent supervision of ship voyages,
coordination with port agents and stevedoring companies)
· Control of harbour costs and settlements
· Co-operation with other departments of the company

Qualifications/Profile:

· Completed commercial training, e.g. as a shipping clerk, forwarding
clerk, industrial clerk or office management clerk
· Operations Experience: Previous experience in operations is a plus
· Fluent English: strong written and spoken English skills are essential;
knowledge of other languages is beneficial
· experienced with MS Office
· a quick grasp of things, an independent working style and a clear
customer and service orientation
· Ability to work in a team, commitment and a strong sense of
responsibility
