We are looking for experienced Legal Counsel to join our team in Kaiserslautern, Germany. You will represent the Legal function, advise Business Leaders with a primary focus on European activities, and liaise with Fruit of the Loom in-house counsel in Bowling Green, KY. We are looking for someone who can prioritize independently, enjoys a challenge, and who works well across cultures and geographies. Not only does the role cover several EMEA countries but may also include activities for other regions as the business may require. Your role, located in Kaiserslautern, Germany:

- Lead or assist with, as required, international legal activities within European countries, including those related to corporate governance, trade law questions, third party due diligence, intellectual property, data protection and privacy (GDPR), sustainability, investigations, etc., collaborating with business representatives from different locations
- Draft, review and negotiate numerous and diverse legal agreements, including distribution agreements, trademark licenses, service agreements, real estate leases, and other agreements as may be required by the business
- Liaise with the Corporate Legal team in the U.S.
- Protect the Company by ensuring adherence to domestic and international laws and regulations governing ethics and compliance
- Manage outside Legal Counsel where required
- Support any type of litigation

Your profile:

- Qualified to degree level, Law Degree, Jura: Wirtschaftsjurist  (m/w/d), Juristisches erstes oder zweites Staatsexamen, LL.M., Diplom or similar
- Specialization in some of these areas is preferred: Deutsches und Internationales Wirtschaftsrecht (European Countries), Handelsrecht, Markenrecht, GDPR (DSGVO), Commercial Law, International Trade Law, Corporate Governance etc..
- Experience across several European jurisdictions is required
- Self-organized with good sense of priorities as you will be working independently
- Well-rounded personality with sound judgement and high ethical standards
- Proficient in English language (oral and written) and/or German language
- Infrequent travel required
