Your prospective job:

For our customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as a Satellite Control Center (SCC) Systems Engineer HW/SW at the location Taufkirchen.

Your responsibilities:

- Conduct and follow-up conceptual design activities in the area of satellite conrol center systems engineering, including but not limited to requirement, interface, user data and management data flow within the ground segment as well as TM/TC interfaces
- Establishment of requirement for satellite control center hardware (HW) and software (SW) items and their interfaces to other ground segment entities, e.g. ground stations, payload control center, networks incl. IT infrastructure as well as data centers
- Elaboration of system trade-offs in the area of satellite control center systems engineering and support the overall architecture definition
- Elaboration of validation concept at satellite control center level and support of relevant tests at higher level (e.g. SVTs, GSVTs)
- Elaboration of the operations concept as well as preparation of operational requirements and operational products (Flight  Ground Operations Procedures, i.e. FOPs  GOPs) for the satellite control center
- Provide technical support to the project managers on planning, contractual changes and risk  opportunities identification

Your profile:

- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a comparable qualifications
- Several years of work experience in in IT / Information Systems and Aerospace Engineering
- Experience in Spacecraft Control Center and Payload Control Center systems engineering
- Experience in Ground Station engineering
- Knowledge of satellite control center systems engineering wrt. technical interface, data flow (for user and management data) as well as TM/TC engineering (secure and unsecured)
- Strong experience in software based systems, networks and IT infrastructure is a must have
- Fluent English and German skills both spoken and written

- Sicherstellung, dass die Prozesse unter Berücksichtigung der vertraglichen Anforderungen wirksam im Projekt angewendet und die projektrelevanten QM-Aufgaben erledigt werden, mit dem Ziel, die Projektziele im Leistungs-, Zeit- und Kostenrahmen risikoarm zu erbringen
- Verantwortung für die Planung und Durchführung qualitätsbezogener Aufgaben über den gesamten Product-Life-Cycle
- Erstellung von projektbezogenen QM-Dokumenten, z.B. QM-Plan, Process Assurance Plan, Prüfablaufplan sowie Reviews von Projekt-, Nachweis- und QM Dokumenten
- Mitarbeit in der Entwicklung bei Prüfplanung, Produkt-Validierung und -Verifizierung sowie Zertifizierung von Systemen, Sub-Systemen und Equipment

Ihr Profil:

- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Elektrotechnik, Ingenieurwesen, Informationstechnik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Qualitäts- und/oder Projektmanagement
- Erfahrungen in der Elektronik-, Hardware- oder Systementwicklung
- Kenntnisse im Bereich Requirement-Management und Problem-Solving-Methoden
- Erfahrung aus Qualitäts- und Prozesssicherung bei Software
- Gute Kenntnisse der Entwicklungsprozesse: V-Modell und agile Methoden
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse im Bereich Qualitätsmanagementsysteme (DIN EN 9100, AQAP, Qualitätsmethoden und Tools: PDCA, QFD, FMEA, RCA, ISHIKAWA, KANBAN, PPS, 8D, usw.)
