Your Tasks

- Verification and Validation of AOCS/GNC subsystems
- AOCS/GNC Test activities at unit (sensors, actuators), subsystem and system levels (integrated spacecraft)
- Technical Support to Procurement of AOCS/GNC equipment (e.g.: sensors, actuators, ground support equipment)

Your Qualifications

- Engineering, doctoral degree or comparable qualification in aerospace engineering, mechatronics engineering or similar
- Professional experience of at least 2-5 years
- Experience in the space business, especially with AOCS/GNC equipment, verification and validation processes is a plus
- Good knowledge of Matlab and C programming language
- Experience with Python and/or other scripting languages is a plus
- Experience with development boards and microcontrollers (e.g.: Arduino, Raspberry Pi) is a plus
- High motivation and proactive involvement
- Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in international teams

Your Tasks

- Definition and analysis of ground segment requirements and adaptations to new missions
- Definition of satellite operations concepts for multi missions
- Contributions to proposals for mission operations
- Contribute to design, planning and execution of test campaigns with the ground and space segments
- Preparation and validation of operational products within the mission centre
- Participation (possibly design thereof) to rehearsal and flight operations
- Supporting actual flight operations for critical and routine phases
- Supporting several missions for satellite operations
Your Qualifications

- Engineering, Physics or an equivalent degree
- Professional experience in the space sector, experience in spacecraft operations engineering is an asset
- Experience in defining, developing and validating of satellite ground segment is an advantage
- Experience in flight dynamics, tools for satellite control (SCOS, EGS-CC, CCS5, etc.) is an advantage

Your Tasks

- System Engineering Support for Human Spaceflight payload development projects from Phase A to E1, mainly for ISS projects but also for human missions beyond Low Earth Orbit
- System engineering for mechanical sub-systems from requirements management, design definition, coordination of manufacturing, assembly, integration and test for the implementation of housings, instruments, sensors, optics, mechanisms and fluidic systems
- Preparation and maintenance of documentation (e.g. design documents, interface control documents, test procedures, test reports)
- Support of assembly, integration and testing in the OHB laboratories and at various spaceflight facilities in Europe
Act as technical focal point for the system engineering tasks assigned to you with interfaces to the project manager, project team, OHB expert departments and customers
- Support of proposal preparation as well as evaluation of subcontractor proposals/concepts

Your Qualifications

- Master's degree or equivalent in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering
- Experiences in the international aerospace sector as a system engineer in phase C/D/E1 ISS hardware projects
- Practical experience in the mechanical design for experiment setups using CAD
- Skills in the design, development, qualification and acceptance of ISS experimental systems would be an advantage
- Familiarity with ESA/DLR/NASA ISS program documentation, interface management, ECSS, safety processes and support of scientific tests would be desirable
