The department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Materials Science at the Rostock University Medical Centre has an immediate vacancy for the position of an epidemiologist. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced epidemiologist and public health expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research methods, lecturing, grant application, and supervision of doctoral theses within an dental background. We are looking for a full-time researcher (f/m/d) to join our research team starting from 01.04.2025 (40 hours/week), initially limited to 2 years with the possibility of extension and paid according to TV-L. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research in the area of public health. Deliver lectures and presentations on epidemiological and public health topics. Prepare and submit grant applications to secure funding for research projects. Supervise and mentor doctoral students in their research and thesis preparation.
